PEAX BACKCOUNTRY DUO HEADLAMP

The battery still had plenty of juice after three nights of spot-and-stalk calling in the high country, and the brightness cuts through fog better than any headlamp I've used before. The rugged build took a tumble down a talus slope without a scratch.

Took this out on a week-long elk hunt in the Rockies and the beam cut through thick fog better than I expected. The battery life held up for four nights of heavy use without needing a recharge.

I was skeptical about battery life for week-long trips, but this headlamp easily lasted five nights on a single charge during my last elk hunt. The rugged build handled rain and rocky terrain without a single flicker.
