SOLITUDE TARP [SILNYLON]

Weighed it on my own scale and it's exactly as advertised—under a pound for a solid tarp is impressive. The silnylon packs down tiny in my pack, leaving room for extra layers. Setup was quick with trekking poles, and it shed a light mountain shower without a single leak.

Used it for two nights in a steady drizzle and the silnylon kept everything bone dry underneath. The versatile pitch options really let me adapt to the terrain and wind direction.

Weighs almost nothing in my pack, which is why it comes on every high-country hunt now. The silnylon fabric shrugs off a sudden hailstorm while I waited one out, and it doubles as a windbreak at camp. Took me a couple pitches to get the guy lines dialed, but that's on me, not the tarp.
